A Community Christmas A Non-Profit Organization

Christmas Giving Center

607 families with 1,012 children (0-10 years of age) and 579 youths (11-19 years old) were provided with a Merry Christmas this year over a three-day period. To make this program a success, we had almost 100 volunteers helping with set up, registration assistance, stocking, shopping (with the clients), traffic control, package handling and cleanup – thank you.

We’d also like to thank the Wright Preparatory Academy for allowing us to use their Crocker Hall as our 2016 Giving Center location.  As in the past, each child under 11 received three new toys, stocking stuffers, stuffed animals and books (2,800 toys, including 28 bikes, were supplied by the Marine’s Toys for Tots program). Each child 11-19 years old (in school full time, not college) received a $20 Walmart gift certificate. All families received food vouchers from Fishers, clothing (from the ACC Closet program), coats (from the Coats for Christmas program) and Christmas decorations. (If you have any unwanted Christmas decorations in good shape, we’ll gladly take them.)  Best of all, our 2016 no-show rate was minimal due to a calling initiative.
