For over 50 years, A Community Christmas has collected mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and even sweatshirts and coats to help ensure that the less fortunate of Stark County, especially children, are kept warm during the winter months. More than 30 local businesses, churches, banks, libraries and other organizations participated last year, collecting almost 6,000 items! All donated items are distributed through local Stark County schools, health departments, clinics, shelters and agencies, as well as through ACC’s Giving Center.
